Aaron Anderson Aaron D. Anderson, PhD is a tenured Associate Professor of Theatre at Virginia Commonwealth University. He holds an Interdisciplinary PhD in Culture from Northwestern University and an MFA in Theatre from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. In 2007 he received the VCU School of the Arts Award for Distinguished Achievement in Service. In addition to his work in theatre and drama, he specializes in qualitative and mixed-method research design, pedagogy and curriculum design, theories of the body and methods of movement analysis. He is a recognized expert on the use of theatre training and performance studies in applied social science, and has designed the curricula for several national and international teacher certification programs. His articles on the intersections of culture and media are taught at universities around the world.

Alan Dow Alan Dow, MD, MSHA, is the Assistant Dean of Medical Education at Virginia Commonwealth University. In this role, he oversees the clinical education of medical students throughout the four years of medical school. He practices clinical medicine as a hospitalist and also leads the VCU Health System's medication safety committee. Fundamental to all of these roles is his core belief in the vital nature of communication and teamwork. His research interests include communication education, creating high functioning teams, and healthcare quality with a focus on medication reconciliation, transitions of care, and provider staffing optimization. He received his M.D. degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, his Masters of Science in Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University, and his undergraduate degree with distinction in cognitive science from the University of Virginia.

David Leong David S. Leong, MFA, is Chairman, Full Professor and Producer of the Department of Theatre at Virginia Commonwealth University. His three-decade career in higher education has also included faculty appointments at the Juilliard School, the University of Maryland and Brandeis University. David has individually coached many stars of television, film and stage including Christopher Plummer, Woody Harrelson, Winona Ryder, Marisa Tomei, Kevin Spacey, Joan Cusack, Raul Julia, Christopher Walken, and Don Cheadle. David has also collaborated on 14 Broadway and London West End productions, including the current Broadway smash hit musical Billy Elliot. David received the 2006 Distinguished Award of Excellence from the VCU School of the Arts and has been cited by Richmond's Style Magazine as one of the most influential Richmond artists of the past 25 years.
